A love affair with Gamay, twenty years in the making. On October 28th, we’re taking over Archive to celebrate the arrival of our 2024 Mon Unique, perhaps our most explosively delicious Gamay yet. We’ll be pouring Gamays of our past and present alongside international greats handpicked by Toronto’s very own Gamay King, Josh. Our entire team will be there to pour, share stories, and indulge in our improbable devotion to the grape we never saw coming. Come thirsty, leave enchanted. The Gamay We Never Saw Coming Had someone told us in 2007 that we would one day be making Gamay from 100% estate fruit, we likely would have laughed in disbelief. And yet, here we are. Not because we knew, but because we listened. Niagara revealed something we hadn’t imagined, and we followed its beauty into the unknown. Our 2024 Mon Unique is perhaps the most exuberant expression of that journey yet. Born of the soft power of the vintage, it is boisterous, succulent and translucent, with undulating layers of fruit, brooding spice and an almost reckless juiciness. A wine that reminds us why the most beautiful discoveries are so often the ones we never planned. And one that makes stopping at a single bottle a rather unreasonable proposition.
